Deliciously moreish Andalucian tapas
Sol Y Sombra was born in Ruddington, from a love of Spanish food at its most relaxed: sizzling pans, busy tables, and ordering one more plate because nobody’s quite ready to go home.
We take the unique taste of Andalusia and popup at cafes, restaurants, pubs, and markets in and around Nottingham.
No posh tablecloths. No fuss. Just properly good ingredients, plenty of flavour, and a happy belly.
Phenomenal food, from the flavour combos to presentation. What a delight to taste both simple and complicated tapas dishes. Some particular favourites were patatas bravas, DELICIOUS meatballs (& the beautiful sauce they were made in), chorizo in honey, padrón peppers, and an abundance of tomato dishes. I can’t wait to have more and see other people have the opportunity to experience the joy in this food!
