Don’t just take our word for it – see what some of our customers think of our tasty tapas treats.

Crispy patatas bravas, seriously delicious pork that tasted like a little slice of Seville, spicy chorizo in honey and padrón peppers to die for. 🇪🇸 Everything was absolutely spot on – a proper tapas night and would definitely come back. Thank you!

The food was absolutely amazing, with the chorizo in honey and Patatas Bravas being particular standouts. The meatballs may have been my favourite dish though, perfectly balanced flavours, incredible texture, and just delicious.

The Melva on tomatoes was another highlight, simple, bold flavours and perfectly seasoned, this isn’t the kind of dish I’d usually order but I’m glad we had the opportunity to try and enjoy it.

To be fair, there wasn’t a single dish that didn’t stand out. Everything was beautifully paired with the ambience, drinks and, of course, good company, making for a fantastic evening.

We’d highly recommend attending one of their pop up events if you get the chance.

You won’t be disappointed.

Thank you, Jamie and Gemma for the absolutely delicious food and a wonderful evening.

Probably the best patatas bravas I’ve had outside of Spain!

Absolutely stunning!

Tanya

Phenomenal food, from the flavour combos to presentation. What a delight to taste both simple and complicated tapas dishes. Some particular favourites were patatas bravas, DELICIOUS meatballs (& the beautiful sauce they were made in), chorizo in honey, padrón peppers, and an abundance of tomato dishes. I can’t wait to have more and see other people have the opportunity to experience the joy in this food!

Dan

I’ve never really been into trying new food but the tapas I tasted on a recent tasting evening was outstanding – I’ll definitely be back for more!

Steve

Loved the pork dish – so succulent and flavoursome – looking forward to trying more from Sol Y Sombra.

Andrew

I was lucky enough to sample the Sol Y Sombra menu and it was absolutely mouth-wateringly delicious! Every dish was packed with flavour and you can really feel the love and thought that has gone into the food and the whole concept.

Gemma & Jamie are such a wonderful couple and team. They told us how Sol Y Sombra was inspired by their regular trips to Seville, their love of the Andalusian food scene, and the idea of bringing people and communities together over really good food. I absolutely love everything about the concept.

I can’t wait to attend one of their pop-up events and, most importantly, eat more of their tapas! I’m still thinking about that chorizo and those patatas bravas with a good dollop of garlic aioli 🤤🇪🇸☀️

See you there!
